Biography

I am Caleb Fatjai Ayuba, known as JAI, a digital artist and visual storyteller from Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria. My work is deeply inspired by the rich cultures of my homeland — a place where tradition, rhythm, and resilience flow through every dance and every bead. Through my lens and digital brush, I document the spirit of African identity, blending traditional motifs like cowrie shells, ancestral garments, and expressive movement into timeless black-and-white frames. My art bridges generations — from the seasoned elder to the curious child — capturing moments that honor where we come from and where we are headed. Whether through photography, illustration, or motion, my purpose is to preserve, celebrate, and reimagine African culture for the world to see. Welcome to my journey. Welcome to YARON AZUMI.
