Biography

I am Caleb Fatjai Ayuba, known as JAI, a digital artist and visual storyteller from Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria. My work is deeply inspired by the rich cultures of my homeland — a place where tradition, rhythm, and resilience flow through every dance and every bead. Through my lens and digital brush, I document the spirit of African identity, blending traditional motifs like cowrie shells, ancestral garments, and expressive movement into timeless black-and-white frames. My art bridges generations — from the seasoned elder to the curious child — capturing moments that honor where we come from and where we are headed.
